[Edit - I forgot to mention it's a speed chess game.]

After 21.Be3+ black resigned. As you can see from the eval bar - the position is favorable to white so black blundered by resigning early.

He must have made the mistake I did in my head. It's not surprising I made the mistake. But it is kind of funny that a GM would "see" what I saw. He entirely missed the simple 21...Kc7. He thought he was forced to play Rc5 and then he's down a rook after white takes it.

Kc7 isn't much fun - ideally you want your king on the 8th rank behind your pawns - but it's not horrible for a GM. They are great at defense after all.

The right sidebar had something I've never seen before. It has no number for black. I've seen 0.1 seconds but never nothing.

I assume white's move and black's resignation were within 0.1 of a second of each other so the site interpreted that to mean they happened at exactly the same time.

I mean, there's like a mechanic where you throw the spheres, right? And this is a very obvious, in your face system [that’s very much like Pokémon]. But I think that it will be a lot more technical than this. Nintendo would have dug through every single action inside the game, they would have probably reverse engineered it, and just find ways to sue these guys.

You can bet your life that Nintendo hates this company, and they couldn't find an angle with the character designs. This is why they are not mentioned in their press release. So they come with these technical peculiarities. So I personally believe, if you act like this, you can sue like 90 percent of the game developers in the world. I'm sure there's like thousands of games that have a confirmation screen when you go from sleep mode to resuming the game right, but if you basically trigger the wrath of Nintendo, they will come after you.

404: So I’m not accusing Nintend of being a patent troll, but this is kind of patent troll behavior in the sense that they have a patent for something they can accuse many companies of using, but they are targeting Palworld because they’re mad about the similarities to Pokémon and because it made a lot of money?

Yes, and this is what the big companies do, right? If you make them angry, they spit in your bowl. They will always find a way. They have an army of lawyers, and with decades of experience, they will spit in your bowl.

For me:

  1. Super Robot Wars (Gameboy)

  2. Berserk Millennium Falcon Arc: Chapter of the Holy Demon War (Mouthful, PS2)

  3. Gundam Battle Assault (PSX)

I love Super Robot Wars, it's the perfect you got peanut butter in my chocolate game. It mixes a dozen different giant mecha ips into a tactical roleplaying game.

Berserk on the ps2 is awesome. It takes the musou formula but imo makes it something much more engaging, plus it faithfully retells the best arc of the manga.

GBA is a great 2D fighter by natsume, carries on the tradition of the gundam wing game for the super famicom but this time on a 32bit system.

I'm pretty excited for this one - it's also one of the few new releases my aging PC meets the requirements for burgerpain
