with wunderground, it will keep long term data.
if you have homeassistant, you can stream the date to it. alternatively wunderground.
i have my ecowitt GW1100C to stream data to wunderground. i like the idea of citizen science, in a way this is my contribution :)
it is pretty accurate when i compare it with other personal weather stations, it's kinda cool to know exactly how cold outside.
i have the same one and i connect it to my homeassistant server. works great.

this is pretty much me, but not in mining, im in govt job. working mostly with cloud (ms azure)
