I was gonna recommend Windows… … but you guys do whatever you want around here!

It is ready… sure there are some annoyances, but it is 100% playable right now (unless you want to kill a chimera…)
I am really enjoying the game, and having spent half a lifetime playing SoC, CS, CoP, CoC, Anomaly, OGSR, EFP, etc… I must say that the thing that annoys me the most is the broken A-life, spawning new NPCs literally in you back, on a previously cleaned dungeon, with no other access but the door you are on…
I can hardly wait to see how Danielle Smith will blame the tariff on Trudeau…
… and what do you think AI in this context is? A computer (or two, or three) that was programmed to perform an specialized task or function… AI is marketing-speak for algorithms, which we have been using for decades. Don’t be fooled… an LLM is not AI. (Your example is)
UE5 sucks, if for anything else, the inability to handle Alt-space as a combination of keys that can be pressed at the same time. I’m not a WASD player (developed my own key arrangement way before it was the default - damn you Wolfenstein 3d and Descent). Alt is my move forward, and Space is jump… in every-single-UE game I cannot run and jump! Not without a keyboard macro to map alt as a different key. I am loving Stalker2 (as I still love every single previous stalker game) but keybinds suck, and some of them are hard coded and can’t be changed (like going up-down ladders is still WS)
Cosmetic damage, no lowballers, $1000 firm, I know what I have!
Not now… ONLY IF REELECTED!
You are so wrong… the most direct route for a missile attack to US from Russia passes over Canada, hence the location.
If you need a specialized lab test to tell if a “feature” exists, and cannot tell yourself by watching it, does the feature matters?
The game is fun, especially if you are a Stalker lore fan, just revisiting all characters and places, blended in a new story. There are bugs, true, but the 1.0.3 is very playable with minor stuff that needs either a quick save/restore or restart the game in the rare occasion. The mechanics are simpler than Anomaly and Misery or other modpacks like EFP or Gamma, which might be a positive for a broader audience, but the spirit of the game is there, progression through equipment, the atmosphere of the labs, and the choices that change how the story progresses very early on. That said, the original A-Life is still 10 times better than the new one, or so It feels. Hopefully this will be addressed in future patches. Even if the game didn’t work at all at launch, I still feel good about it being the ONLY game I paid full price and pre-order.
