I'm not saying every nay vote is a dog whistle. Just that there are some really obvious ones, esp the whole "don't you value free speech? So much for the tolerant left" themed posts.
I don't understand why anyone is naïve enough to still preorder from companies like Bethesda.
Mostly I don't understand pre-ordering games at all (patient gamers represent) but from Bethesda? You're basically paying to get kicked in the shins. Surely we all know this by now.
Go read lemmygrad then. I do. I also read beehaw. Defederation doesn't delete it from your internet, it just stops them from using this instance as a platform extender.
Perfect, let's keep it that way.
Aye for both the primary content and for the obvious dog whistling going on to defend it.
I've got the master's and I agree, was a good move. I still use the skills from it often despite being in a totally different field.

I saw an article recently about using chatgpt to write tailored patient handouts and I think that was a good one. Eg "please write an empathetic and gently persuasive explanation of why it can be dangerous to give antibiotics to a person with stomach upset and a history of c difficile infection. Use simple language."
Thanks for sharing all these fascinating articles. Happy to subscribe
We do treat pain as psychological.
The trouble is, it takes a huge amount of buy-in to get a patient on board for this approach without them storming out thinking that you've told them their pain is made-up.
I strongly considered getting my PhD and doing research, but the prospect of spending over a decade making less than subsistence wages and being treated like a neophyte despite years upon years of training was oddly unappealing. I can't think why anyone else would be turned away though.
Fallout 76 is only the most recent, they've been like this since... I guess a little after morrowind? As an early adopter of tes (saved my sheckels to buy arena after reading a PC gamer review, did not regret), I was sad to see them go to shit, but to shit they went and it was not recent.
