Is the first Rolling Sparks change just removing that bug where you free aim it at the ground to cause it to deal all it’s damage at once?
Yup. They also apparently nerfed how it works, so even aiming in a straight line won't deal much damage to large enemies.

It's not really setting a precedent, hosting pirated content has always been illegal and it doesn't help that he bragged about being a pirate.
I hate Nintendo's practices as much as anyone else, but honestly, play stupid games and win stupid prizes. If you sell modded consoles with pirated games on them without even trying to be anonymous, of course they're going to sue you and win.
