I feel like it's a refreshing stance to see from a game developer honestly. So much of gaming in general over the last decade evolved into trying to keep the player tied down to that single game especially so for anything live service.

Same here. I started with Jerboa but it seemed a little rough. Switched to Connect and it's really improved the experience! Looking forward to trying Sync in the future.

Yeah it's got to be hard to program the AI to let off the gas an invested DM would know how to do naturally.

The trend has especially caught on among younger, burned-out office workers on a "996" schedule-- working from 9 in the morning to 9 at night, six days a week.

And here I thought 40 hours working remote is a lot holy awful.

It's a good idea to check in on this every so often just to make sure your employers are paying their contributions too. I recall some horror stories when this this been posted before.
