Drive through rural Mississippi. The wealth gap is nuts just from what you can see on the highway.

Only place I've live where this is taboo is Chicagoland. And that's to be expected with the muddy snow.
Here in the South we usually don't have carpets, no reason to take our shoes off.
That's very surprising. Where have you visited?
That's not even close!
Poor person snags a rabbit for dinner. State pays a warden more to nail him than it would have cost to pay for his food. Some things never change.
Y'all know that's a flare gun, right?
I'm on the water a great deal and haul in everything I can find. Cleaned up Tuesday's haul and ended up with about 15 sets of hooks, swivels and sinkers. On Monday I found a whole cast net by the creek, without the lead unfortunately (I melt it down).
These surgeons were moving fast, I can see it.
I was sawing wood one night and barely touched my thumb webbing, split open like a mouth. Bet you could take 3 fingers an single forward and back stroke. You can for sure with modern blades.
(If anyone is considering a new saw, get the kind with this sort of edge: https://www.amazon.com/REXBETI-Folding-Camping-Pruning-Quality/dp/B07BLQBN8X/ Those are modern day light sabers.)
Damnnit! Came here to post that.
Ah, wondered why they didn't mention an A-list star.
LOL, we has 2 and have never used them. One is at camp, where we have a gennie, and we sold the other at the flea market.
The only hot drinks we make are coffe and we have 3 machines for that. If we need hot water to cook, we heat it on the stove top. I just can't see why we would want one. Am I missing out?
