To be fair, translation engines like deepl.com do handle idioms pretty well compared to google translate. It probably depends on the idiom and the languages though. But even deepl is nowhere near perfect. Fine for random stuff to be understood but not good for a professional news website.

Our appartement block just voted down getting an engineer in to see what would be required to have car charging infrastructure installed. To be honest I get it, owners don't want to pay for that for the hypothetical electric car owner in the future.

C'est un endroit touristique. C'est le rocher le plus grand du monde au centre de l'Australie et c'est très important pour les aborigènes. Si tu visites l'Australie je le recommande.

Coober Pedy est à mi-chemin entre Adélaïde et Uluru.

Je suis d'Adélaïde et Coober Pedy est une ville intéressante mais c'est pas un endroit où tu veux habiter sauf si tu veux essayer trouver des opals. Mais c'est cool à visiter sur le chemin pour aller à Uluru.

Edit: et le raison que c'est tellement pas cher et que c'est au milieu de nulle part. Le centre de l'Australie et tellement vide de civilisation

Hire a trailer? That's what I do here in Australia with my small car. It can tow a trailer with appliances and furniture just fine.

You can also hire small removalist trucks that you can drive with a standard license if you have a lot of stuff.

Probably get a similar amount of room in a station wagon.
