I filter out a few keywords so I don't get inundated with politics but can still get a little news in my feed. Just enough articles slip past the keywords to keep a good balance.
I never comment in political threads.

I grew up in the eastern time zone and this seems to be from central. This makes me nostalgic but the time difference makes my brain fuzz out a little.
Yeah or NCIS. My father was NCIS for 35 years. I never thought of him as a cop.
Are the feds the same as cops? Like, I know they investigate crimes and what not but I don't know that they adhere to that thin blue line bullshit.

When the BLM marches happened in New Orleans you hardly saw any cops. Where were they? Always a block away directing traffic away from the marchers to prevent congestion. New Orleans has huge events year round with people parading through the streets making NOPD particularly adept at crowd control. They just left the protesters alone and routed everybody around them.
I marched ever day for a week and there wasn't a single act of violence on either side.
