Some screenshare software has a setting you need to toggle to then have the mouse show. I would look into your screen share settings and check for a toggle like that,

I use it all the time when walking a track. Pretty good app, and it lets my brain not worry about losig track and wondering if I really did walk around the desired amount of times.

One of the most popular privacy guarded countries, and now it's at a risk. Might as well either drop using Proton mail and find another private country and a new software. Even if just temporary, because if this law does not pass then now you have a back up encrypted email service. this experiment is a win-win. Don't lose when you find out Proton mail is no longer private at the last second act now.

I didn't know you could get shadowbanned on Lemmy. The most I ever hear about are straight forward temp bans or Perma bans. Sometimes you might be lucky and it might just be a simple comment removal o post removal resulting in no ban to the user.

I think original depiction of this meme involved a cat. It could just be that while she's drinking on the drink that everyone is in danger, or other situations and Antrapta is just trying to find some sense of amusement or enjoyment despite having a task such as having to repair someones ship.

"In the context of her character holding the smoothie in the show it could be a centext like, what do you have there while you're supose to be working on fixing our ship?"

For me my role models aren't a real person, however the role model would be doing things I would aim to do.

Why fictional characters: because I want to see the immediate impossible results of someone or something doing amazing works. and i'l want to be like them.

For example Spongebob motivates me to have fun working, (generally) and to have fun with the smaller little details of a job. Whatever small thing that makes the job interesting and motivating. Instead of going to a job thinking its chore I might aim to make the best of the fact I am working there.

I do believe there are biases in memes, that wasn't what I was getting at, rather I was more so talking about how the news has a narrow path bias, usually as simple as the left vs the right. While with memes it's more so talking about what is happening now, a specific topic, a specific cause, an event. And ones standpoint or perspective of just that specific event in the meme. again, my point is meme is not just informational but it's also news, cultural, social and at the very moment sometimes even at the minute/second.

To an extent though I do think that the news can have more in depth coverage. I think memes are good for global events but the more in depth or specific (local news for instance) news can be better since It is leaning more so on the information side.

Memes however, can keep you informed to an extent while not falling behind culture, and sociaty epectation Memes go deeper on the social and culture while reporting news. Which news does leave out or ignore, in preference of the narrow political path..

True, like i'l still search for specific context such as the history of a law or amendments to said law.
