Wait until you hear about kernel level anticheat for competitive games

Ok, and...?

Valve doesn't care if you're infringing another company's copyright (i.e. they're not held liable) and they're not your legal help either. The developer / publisher is liable for that. All Valve has to do is to respect dmca requests.

There are many "legally distinc" clones of games on Steam. Hell, Palworld exists and they didn't have a problem getting to the store front.

For Dolphin the problem was a gray area of how it circumvents Wii's drm.

Right? The captchas are getting ridiculous to the point that solving them means you're not human. Because human would get fed up with this shit and leave

They remind me of these guys

I didn't even grow up with thps1 or 2 and I'm still nostalgic, because they reused this map in thug2 as tutorial area, which was genius

Very often games are mediocre and/ or not even fully finished which results in a buggy mess,

AAA trash, sure
Indie games are often 10-20 USD and totally worth the money

Oh come on, there will be no players left to play the game then

Chances are that Valve is being weird, just as they've been with the Dolphin emulator

Why would they though? Dolphin was very special case, this isn't.

How do you even collect evidence of something that happened momentarily?

I'm a Linux noob, using Manjo for almost two years no prob One time an update needed manual intervention and I've fucked it up. But afaik on Arch this also happens so 🤷‍♂️

Reason why I started doing btrfs snapshots before every update
