Nikon Z8 + Nikkor 400mm f/4.5

1/640 sec, f5.6, ISO-2800

it was pretty overcast, so i had to go with a pretty slow shutter speed & shallow depth of field but he was working the flowers enough that i got one (out of many) photos that weren't too motion blurred

autofocus setting was 3D/bird

there are two particular spots where they sit laughing at me while not fighting each other...

sigh..

i have to figure out a place i can photograph from without getting wet but right now i don't have such a place.
