A smaller scale anecdote of mine — I have been using Linux for more than a decade as a second daily driver. I need to make the switch. Everything I need now is on Linux except Visual Studio. So I planned to change my main programming language. It is slow and painful, but I think I am on the right path. Windows 10 is truly the last Windows, for me.

No Bluesky in Lemmy I meant. They should and probably be easily let into mastodon. They are not evil definitely, I did not intend to say that. Just that they are doing too much, it feels, feature wise. I may be wrong.
Ooh, did not know that, thanks for catching that. Anyway, they shouldn't be let in as well in case they can bridge between protocols some day.
My thought process in this post reddit world:
- reddit: love you and hate you
- threads: who the fuck are you
- bluesky: no
- nostr: no
- mastodon: you're cool, but will not participate

Best part is there is an official effort to develop Sync for Lemmy by the Sync for Reddit creator.
Been wanting to quit reddit for a few years. Recent incidents just accelerated the process. I will still visit few smaller subreddits from time to time as I still see the original reddit charm in those places.
This is my all-time favorite. One of my favorite memories of this movie was — when I showed it to a way less idealistic friend of mine, he felt so sad when the last of the memories is being removed. I did not expect him to do that let alone like the movie.
Monkey brain immediately thought if a purchase transfer is possible from Sync For Reddit. However, I would be glad to pay again. Sincerely hope it is better and stable than Jerboa.
At this moment, reddit is best for search via google or otherwise.
