The NSA actually uses Linux.

They even contributed to it. They also collaborated with RedHead and develope something called SELinux which is a pretty sophisticated permission management tool.

It's the AT&T Long Lines Building. It's pretty likely the NSA did their surveillance of the international calls (and a lot more) there.

I live in a village with about 1000 residents and I have to say that it's ok to get everywhere. It just becomes a problem if you want to drive back late or on Sundays because the bus doesn't come at that time

To the nearest train station I need around an hour when I walk. Usually that's not needed though. After that it's another hour to the nearest large city

Honestly, I played around with it for a little bit and then never used it again. Of course one of the reasons was that it was so hidden and I simply forgot.
