I'm reading all the love for the original Steam controller; I didn't get it. Maybe it's because I'm a heavy dpad user, but I had one and sold it off reasonably quickly.

Here's hoping the follow-up works better for me; the Deck is fantastic!

Literally my only complaint is the Amazon's model. More svelte in my mind, less... «hand waves» that.

There's 2 "styles" of Castlevania

ClassicVanias and MetroidVanias.

The former are your hard-as-balls platforming/knockback hack and slash (with a slight exception being Simon's Quest, which is a precursor of sorts to the latter category). It's these games that are in this bundle. Notable omission being Rondo of Blood (the best one).

The latter is still a platformer at its core, but with the ability gating / backtracking and large area map(s) common to the Metroid series. These games started with Symphony of the Night on PS1 and continued into the GBA/NDS era. These games are in the Castlevania Advance Collection and Dominus Collection.

Both styles are very good (who favors which style is personal). Do know that the Castlevania series' music, globally, is GOATed.

Vicarious Visions' team for that game needs the equivalent of an Academy Award for what they achieved (and no, I don't mean Geoff Keighley's flatulence).

It's a royal pain in the ass to switch between filter and espresso (seriously, don't bother trying), but I love my Eureka Facile. A few simple 3D prints at the local library and I've modded it to be one hell of a single-doser.

And for regular coffee, I've a Timemore Chestnut manual – perfect for my Clever dripper.

Honestly, with a 4k TV and a MiSTer, you can do some amazing things with shadowmasks and scanline filters, it looks good. And still, very very little latency (I can beat Tyson in Punch Out on an LCD display, no issues – try that on Lakka)

Look into a MiSTer FPGA. It's way better than a pi (latency!) for everything up to ps1/n64/Saturn

I'd argue that they're more likely to morph into a patent troll if they ever do get anywhere close to their death throes.

We might even be witnessing the Genesis of that transformation now.

They have such a deep patent portfolio that they could really fuck with the whole industry.

I suggest that this community should consider bringing in the "Daily Simple Questions" threads. They were fun to participate and build community. Perhaps make the threads weekly, instead of daily as the community continues to grow with Redfugees.

Don't worry about the reputation / !check system, though. Upvotes for good advice is sufficient, IMO.
