It doesn't matter that it doesn't work on you. People have studied it, and the number don't lie. It increases sales, and profits over the general population.

Sounds like something a nazi would say.

And if they wanted their own little naziverse on the fediverse nobody could stop them, but compared to every other social media platform most of lemmy deplatformed and banned nazis, while they get privileged status on Facebook or Twitter.

Oh they tried, they got banned and any instance they spun up got defederated.

Turns out they don't like just each other very much. And those instances did not grow on their own.

To me it actually felt like a regression.

One of my favorite things in skyrim/oblivion/fallout 4 was environmental storytelling, and this just has none.

I browse all, and I just block communities that I find overly negative.

Well yeah, it's easier to travel to begin with, and makes traveling longer distances significantly easier and faster.

Not to mention it also makes it possible to actually carry heavy things like groceries or goods.

In my opinion this seems like overdevelopment. No green spaces and such.

Obviously I've never been in an environment like this, but I can't imagine it's great.

Cars suck, but that doesn't mean we should spend all our days in possibly cramped buildings.

That headline is very misleading.

The 2 methods of measuring Hubble's constant disagree. One with measurement of the CMB, and one by measuring galaxy distances and speed.

JWST just decreased the error in measuring distances.

We don't know why they disagree so we can't make a statement about 'universe expanding at different speeds'

What the hell is with the comments here?

Its a little strange to think about, but there's nothing 'natural' about modern crops.

For millenia selective breeding was used to get desired traits, with who knows how many other mutations along the way.

More recently radiation has been used to induce mutations in crops to wider diversity.

GMOs are just the next step in more precisely editing a plants genome with only the changes we want.

Now the corpations making them like Monsanto can get fucked, they should still be treated like every other plant. If you have seeds you should be able to plant them.

You don't have to replace your commute, if its not feasable. But you could try replacing other smaller trips with a bike if you can. Like trips to the grocery store or doctors appointment.

Truthfully if the infrastructure to do these things doesn't exist for you, then don't endanger yourself.

I don't believe you.
