What a small, vindictive, fragile man.

Yes, that too.

As a white person, it is taking a surprisingly large amount of energy to not go dig out our 9mm in my FIL's gun safe and shoot these cowardly assholes on sight.

These are real people that are being directly affected by the heinous acts of ICE; and I fear they won't stop unless they have something to fear themselves.

Problem is those "adults" (in name only) hide their cowardess behind firearms.

Yep, that is a very real possibility.

What a fucking world we live in.

Luckily, the EU also has Galileo, and Russia has GLONASS (skeptical about the latter, but it exists).

Nearly every GPS-capable device has access to both of those as well as the US-based GPS.

Games run faster with LMDE6 than they did with Windows 10 on my 5800X3D/7900XTX PC.

This is great context too, it’s easy to forget that until recently only Tesla made EVs.

Tesla is the Apple equivalent to the car world. They were not the only ones making EVs, they just made EVs popular and more widely accepted.

Getting rid of them is literally forcing USPS to use old, broken, difficult to maintain due to age vehicles.

Something tells me that this may be the point.

You want a peach or strawberry, ideally a peach, but they're both rotten. Instead of just getting rid of the rotten fruit, you picked a rotten strawberry.

You want to use an AI slop machine (rotten peach), but it doesn't work on your device because reasons, so instead of not using an AI slop machine (throwing away the rotten fruit), you chose to use a different AI slop machine (rotten strawberry) that does work on your device.

Yeah, super hard to find...

It never went away. It's still a feature. It's just stored locally on your device. Thats it.

I'm in the process of getting my Home Assistant environment up and running, and decided to run a test: it turns out that my gaming PC (custom 5800X3D/7900XTX build) uses more power just sitting idle, than both of my storage freezers combined.

Background: In addition to some other things, I bought two "Eightree" brand Zigbee-compatible plugs to see how they fare. One is monitoring the power usage of both freezers on a power strip (don't worry, it's a heavy duty strip meant for this), and the other is measuring the usage of my entire desktop setup (including monitors and the HA server itself, a Lenovo M710q).

After monitoring these for a couple days, I decided that I will shut off my PC unless I'm actively using it. It's not a server, but it does have WOL capability, so if I absolutely need to get into it remotely, it won't be an issue.

Pretty fascinating stuff, and now my wife is completely on board as well; she wants to put a plug on her iMac to see what it draws, as she uses it to hold her cross-stitch files and other things.
