Yeah I still don't see it. Weird
Seems that's their strategic direction. They have a bunch of rouleurs so just get kuss and jonas over the hills and give them a satelite rider to pace the flats. It seems to work nicely and gives a decent amount of tactical leeway depending how each stage goes. Wout can even be a very strong first man on the final climb.
Really rooting for the offense to look good. I always have a scheme over players bias but man Rodgers is a bit different to take out of the equation.
I can imagine it is seriouspy draining if you're ernest and principled. The whole thing is a game to most MPs it seems. I'm seriously impressed that she tried but not surprised she's burned out. With any luck she can come back and raise hell again later I life with more experience and wider backing. Likewise not pro-indy but definitely think her presence is a breath of fresh air.
King of our hearts.
It's a great way to start a tour right? We're still seeing sprint action at the intermediate too, so really I feel like this has everything. I guess being picky we could have a relevant breakaway, though powless gave a great showing today. I have slightly weird nostalgia for prologues and boring first week sprintorama's, but putting it that aside, this is just better to watch.
Ah yes the state really struggles to find money for massive infrastructure investment.
Again. The state has lower financing costs than PLCs in adition to generally better borrowing terms. It is in a stronger position to fund investment. This argument is DOA anyway because water utilities have demonstrably failed to make adequate capex during the last 30 years of private ownership.
Problems are opportunities
Oh oh I know this one. Freedom is slavery and ignorance is strength right?
I think for now the best thing he can do for pog's race is to be a legit GC threat. That he and the team are contradicting each other is really interesting. They're either surprisingly strategically naive or playing a canny game. My money's on the latter.
It's better than JV had last year because this time around the team with a sole leader has a poor stable of mountain domestiques. They don't even have to work to isolate Jonas. It will just happen at the end of stages and he will have to mark both riders (assuming yates' form isn't a mirage and noone on JV surprises by stepping up a level)
