Cherry Blossoms! (sh.itjust.works)

It's definitely spring! All of the cherry blossom trees in my area are blooming and are beaaaauuutiful.

Aperture: f/8

Shutter Speed: 1/400s

ISO: 640

Focal Length: 250mm

Gear:

Canon EOS Rebel t2i

18-55 mm f/3.5-5.6 EFS zoom lens

55-250mm f/4-5.6 EFS zoom lens

Pictures are taken in RAW, processed in Darktable, then converted to webp and compressed to 70% quality.

If you'd like a full quality image, check out my account on Unsplash!

Also, you're free to do anything you want with any of my pictures, just don't claim you were the one to take it :)

I made it 17 days! I beat my goal of 2 weeks. Anyway, here's some yellow leaves that look like flowers. I probably should have decreased the aperture, it's a bit out of focus at the top, but oh well. This was also taken before I knew about raws and everything.

Aperture: f/4.5

Shutter Speed: 1/160s

ISO: 800

Focal Length: 90mm

Gear:

Canon EOS Rebel t2i

18-55 mm f/3.5-5.6 EFS zoom lens

55-250mm f/4-5.6 EFS zoom lens

Pictures are taken in RAW, processed in Darktable, then converted to webp and compressed to 70% quality.

If you'd like a higher (or full) quality image, check out my account on Unsplash! It doesn't have all of my pictures as of writing, but I'll slowly be putting everything on there over time!

Also, you're free to do anything you want with any of my pictures, just don't claim you were the one to take it :)

And there it goes! I forgot to upload a picture last night before bed!

[–] guynamedzero 1 points 5 days ago

Sorry, I found it while I was on a walk so I have no idea.

[–] guynamedzero 6 points 6 days ago

This is beautiful

Another re-edit of a previous photo! Yippee! Finals are almost done so we'll have some real pictures soon.

Exposure Settings:

Aperture: f/5 Shutter Speed: 1/8s ISO: 1000 Focal Length: 131mm

Information:

I have to post one picture every day, I can take pictures in advance, in case I'm unable to take a picture for whatever reason (vacation, weather, idk) but I still have to post once per day.

I can't post pictures of the same thing within like, a week or two, idk, I might get rid of this "rule" if I feel like it.

Don't be afraid to give me any feedback on any of my pictures, I'm still veeery new to photography and would love any feedback given.

Gear:

Canon EOS Rebel t2i

Same story as yesterday! I kinda chose a bad time to start this project because next week is finals weeks and I don't have much time to go out and take new pictures, so here's an edit of a picture I previously posted! This was taken before I knew about taking in raw and editing, so I've done my best to improve this as much as possible!

Exposure Settings:

Aperture: f/5.6 Shutter Speed: 1/80s ISO: 100 Focal Length: 46mm

Here you go! I haven't uploaded anything there yet but I will upload all of the stuff I've posted when I have some free time from my final exams

lol, I can only read this as you saying "yay" in a dry voice since there's no punctuation

Haven't heard of unsplash before, it looks great though! I'm gonna start uploading the full quality versions of photos there for the future!

If you'd like a higher (or full) quality image, just ask me in the replies or dms, I'll happily send it when I get a chance. If you don't specify a file format or quality, I'll just send a jpeg at 90% quality (or whatever necessary to get a reasonable file size). You can also totally ask for the version of the image before edits.

Also, you're free to do anything you want with any of my pictures, just don't claim you were the one to take it :)

Another fun plant on my college campus! I'm experimenting more with GIMP and Darktable, definitely having fun with them!
