This is a feature, not a bug. If my battery lasted longer I may never actually get off the toilet πŸ˜…

Weird, cus it literally happened a few months ago:

https://www.neowin.net/news/crowdstrike-broke-debian-and-rocky-linux-months-ago-but-no-one-noticed/

This was in no way a Windows problem, this was entirely a CrowdStrike problem. Claiming otherwise makes you look like an uninformed moron.

The dude on the right, his legs are like boards. He has a bit of a calf bulge, but it's not even giving my regular bulge any jealous thoughts.

Canceling an entire tour, that people already bought tickets and travel for, over a small gaff made off the cuff by someone who has been his friend longer than a large amount of Lemmy has been alive, is fucking cowardice. And this is 100% a PR firms opinion and we will never know whatever JBs true feelings are because, again, hes a coward and will never speak out about it for fears it might upset his money train.

I posted this over on the site that shall not be named, but the WH GiftShop sent an email at 2:06 saying the VP pick is JD Vance:

70dba is about what a vacuum cleaner puts out. I doubt anyone is actually bothered by the noise level considering it's an outdoor sport unless their home literally shares a wall with the court.

To be mildly fair to Spotify Car Thing lasted for at least 3yrs. The worst part was, imo, it was really good. Like sure, my phone does voice commands but they work like 1/5 times. Car Thing worked nearly 100%, responded to anyone in the cars voice (pro/con depending on situation lol), and was a nice display for my preAndroidAuto headunit. Honestly I think the biggest mistake was that it was tied to a car, I used it on my desk for a while as a dedicated music control surface and it worked well. If more time went into making it just a universal Spotify controller it would have been much better as a thing. Have it mounted next to your receiver, or slap a battery in it and put it on a coffee table during a party and that would have been cool AF and requires zero phone interactions.

Most of the shade I have seen thrown at IV is based on somewhat overly Libertarian quotes from the founder Lucian Graves. The organization as a whole leans extremely left, so some were caught a bit off guard. I'll have to dig it up, it was years ago, but also Lucian is not a perfect individual (nor is anyone).

The Seven Fundamental Tenants of TST removed from any other context are pretty decent guidelines for life. #4 gets a lot of flack, but I feel like it's counterbalanced by #7.

So people don't have to Google:

I. One should strive to act with compassion and empathy toward all creatures in accordance with reason.

II. The struggle for justice is an ongoing and necessary pursuit that should prevail over laws and institutions.

III. One’s body is inviolable, subject to one’s own will alone.

IV. The freedoms of others should be respected, including the freedom to offend. To willfully and unjustly encroach upon the freedoms of another is to forgo one's own.

V. Beliefs should conform to one's best scientific understanding of the world. One should take care never to distort scientific facts to fit one's beliefs.

VI. People are fallible. If one makes a mistake, one should do one's best to rectify it and resolve any harm that might have been caused.

VII. Every tenet is a guiding principle designed to inspire nobility in action and thought. The spirit of compassion, wisdom, and justice should always prevail over the written or spoken word.

Just wanted to bandwagon and thank you also. This is basically what I believe and espouse but now I know there's a broader term! Much appreciated!
