I saw on another comment you mention you have a 3090, how long did this take to make? Do any of the compressed Flux models generate any faster for you?

And it's a Samsung appliance so rest assured it's complete garbage

I don't understand, this was in the owners home? The kid was in a different room with the dog and no one else? Wish there were more details.

My experience with AI related content on Lemmy is that most downvotes come from people that aren't even part of the community, just looking at local or all and downvoting because they don't like AI.

Anyway, I enjoyed this and it made me laugh, thanks.

Sleep training like that is a bit extreme imo, we started with a much lower threshold (5 mins) and only expanded a little bit (+5-10 mins) until our kids started to adjust. Worked well enough for them, they were sleeping mostly uninterrupted regularly around 4-5 months. Some regressions happen but we just apply the same technique and they're back to regular in a couple days.

I'm just playing through Majora's Mask (2Ship2Harkinian) after going through Ocarina (Ship of Harkinian) and the quality of life improvements those versions offer while staying true to the originals are really huge for me. Free camera control, quick actions for things like tunics and boots, d-pad item assignments, HD texture packs, etc. Highly recommend it for anyone who likes the games, I usually replay them once a year for nostalgic reasons, I will always use these versions moving forward for that now.

How do these not apply to the majority of games, these sound so insanely broad. Patents are so stupid.

Between shit like this, Crowdstrike, and Microsoft Recall I wonder why anyone even bothers with Windows anymore

Out of necessity most likely, sometimes you either have no alternatives for proprietary software on Linux, or it's extremely cumbersome to get and maintain such software on Linux.

in a pinch yes you could boot it up grab the stuff you need and send it wherever. Again, it's been a while since I've had to touch any of their stuff, but the BCDR devices were one of the best backup appliances I've used, they had file shares as an option amongst a few other methods to easily recover data through the backups it's taken.

you don't have any control over the VM specifically for those emails or w/e. If it's still a thing, Datto used to let you log in to the control panel and boot a test vm of the backup image to verify manually if need be.
