Yeah, that would work if people would be fastidious about swapping out the Listerine.

Given how often most people do so much as swap out thwir toothbtoothbrush most of us would leave it until it mutated

I know this is wrong, but when I think about time and dimensions, I think of the fourth dimension being like our physical first dimension, and the fifth like our second and the sixth like our third.

So the moment now that you are in would be the sum of all of your first, second, and third dimensions currently in the fourth dimension, and then the fifth dimension would be the sum of everything you are from the moment you are born to the moment you die, all of your fourth dimension movements making like a wibbly wobbly, timey, wimey thing, and then the sixth dimension would be all the potential times of all of the lives and experiences that ever exist.

Like I said, I know this is wrong, but this is what I enjoy thinking about.

It's a screenshot from the movie They Live.

In it, Roddy Piper has special glasses that allows him to see past these like weird replacement human alien creatures disguises, so in this screenshot he's wearing the glasses and so you can see a couple of the aliens faces in like blended in amongst the people and originally behind the screenshots or behind the images on the billboards you would see signs that say stuff like "obey" and "reproduce".

I chose to use the black and white copy even though that wasn't really perfect because it helped me not have to worry about shading in all of the colors for the images that I pasted in, because I am not a Photoshop expert.

Its a retirement home for people in their 30s today, lol

I got to wondering what They Live would be like with the glasses off in 2069. This is what I came up with

My guess is that the question is, "How old was god when he created the universe?"

or, for a darker take, "How old was God when he died?"

I mean, yes, but it kind of misses the point, right? I mean, if somebody breaks into your home and murders your child, you shouldn't be arrested for not having bought better locks.

For almost every human being on the planet, the loss of their child is more than enough punishment for whatever fraction of blame falls on their shoulders in situations like this.

I mean, I'm not the most empathetic person on the planet, but I do still have a drop or two of humanity somewhere inside of this withered carcass I call my body and I can clearly tell that it is horrendous to arrest the parents of a child that was accidentally killed because of someone else's mistake because they let the child out of their sight.

I know nobody with a soul at Microsoft and the ability to do something about it will read this, but maybe, just maybe, shoving your AI agent down your users' throats against their will and cramming it into every single application on their computer is not the best way to engender goodwill and user adoption.

Maybe if you offered it to them as a voluntary upgrade that they could use to try it out without it being forced on them would have done a better job.

But you know, go on being Microsoft. You've been this way for 50 fucking years, you're gonna keep being this way, and nobody can stop you except your own complete and total downfall.

So what you're saying is that having nothing to do with Lutris itself, there is a discord where people get together and say things that are hateful.

But we can still use Lutris. It does not mean that we are endorsing the hateful rhetoric of the discord, right?

Surprisingly, I'm much more okay with it if I'm lied to. If you tell me no, no, no, there are no bugs in this, and then I eat it, and I do not detect bugs in it, and it turns out after the fact that there were bugs in it, okay fine, you got me, fair game.

My work decided to close for Juneteenth, but then I had to come back on Friday, and I told everyone I was going to request that Friday off so I could have a four-day weekend for the price of one day of PTO, and I forgot to do it, so I had to work a weird bizarroland hellscape Friday where we had just had a day off so we have like a little bit more energy than usual, but then the weekend is also about to hit so everyone wanted to leave, but everyone also wanted to get all of their work done, so for me it was just a fucking nightmare.
