ha!

this is such a surprising and good answer, I'm happy to read it and happy that you're happy.

when people ask me how Trump won, I explain that Americans care so little about women as a group that they're letting them die in front of hospitals rather than allowing them to have health care.

"allowing" them.

so the party hoping to elect a woman president is at an extreme disadvantage.

I also think domestic and international election interference election interference plays a much more significant role in American elections than people think and in hindsight and future history textbooks, people will be shaking their heads, not just at the electoral college, but at direct election interference securing Republican victories.

people don't think election interference is important because we hear the word gerrymander or social media bias or "Russian troll farms" and since they're omnipresent, they're dismissed, although they have direct practical influence on campaigns and election processes.

haha, thanks. 28 so far.

I really like podcasts and eating large dinners and then walking or bicycling after that, so I'll spend spend 3 or 4 hours a day learning something from a podcast and idly burning off all the great food I ate!

If you like walking games, the only other one I've really enjoyed is called "the walk", and it's sort of a serialized radio show, and every 10 miles or so you walk you'll unlock another chapter so you can hear the next part of the story.

it's a pretty cool story and very professionally done with a bunch of different voice actors.

a thousand gold ores.

that I'm determined to do through gold panning.

I actually really want to do gold panning in real life, and I aim to soon, so walkscape will be its proxy until I get the opportunity.

thank you, that's exactly what I'm looking for. appreciate it.

what specific things can you point out to dismiss the case?

would one clearly false sentence in a police report be enough?

[–] Varyk 1 points 1 month ago

I was looking at one of those a couple years ago, I've only heard good things.

thanks.

that's a really good point about being obvious when you're interviewing people too.

loops is now confirmed my new Vine substitute, thanks.

do you mean an electric kick scooter or a motor scooter?

every year the Taiwanese walk a pilgrimage to honor the water god that they like there, Mazu, so my instinct is for you to follow that route.

everywhere is connected by roads in Taiwan with nature trails all around, so you'll be pretty safe to start off from wherever you land, but some roads will be busy or so I assume that the mazu pilgrimage route will be a little more off the beaten path, although I know it goes through some towns and cities.

and all the cities are near the beach so you can go from the beach and then 1 mile in the mountain starts climbing up, so you'll be able to see everything very easily on an electric scooter.

ya know what, let's see.

https://taiwangods.moi.gov.tw/html/landscape_en/1_0011.aspx?i=34#:~:text=Starting%20from%20Baishatun%20Gongtian%20Temple,four%20hundred%20kilometers%20in%20total.

it specifically says it's a foot pilgrimage, but I can't imagine anyone minding you on a scooter, especially if you're not going during the actual pilgrimage month, which is usually April.

that site has all the information and the route.

Taipei is probably good to start in just because their roads are going to be so good, and you'll want to at least see Taipei first, but you're not going to have any trouble getting around Taiwan.

i prefer hualien as a city, it's a lot slower but it has everything and is a very comfortable town to live in.

I love Taiwan, you're going to have a great time. their breakfast foods are second to none. but then their Buddhist vegetarian buffets are also second to none. their curry is pretty good too. and their fried mushrooms. oh and their sushi is great

I might see you there, haha.

This is the first I've heard of it, but here's one of his infamous quotes:

"There is a trait in the Jewish character that does provoke animosity, maybe it’s a kind of lack of generosity towards non-Jews.

I mean, there’s always a reason why anti-anything crops up anywhere; even a stinker like Hitler didn’t just pick on them for no reason.”

His other quotes tend to be condemnation about specifically Israeli zionism and barbaric murder, but i don't have context as to whether he's referring to palestine or not. Some people might have more sympathy for these statements these days, but a lot of his other quotes have to do with Jews controlling money and media, less defensible prejudice.

I see everetters, but everetteers is right there, an 'e' away!

I had the Oculus quest DK2 before oculus was bought by Facebook and enjoyed playing whatever people made, but the more Facebook locked everything down the less interested I became in VR.

Now you can't even play with a quest unless you have a Facebook account, and it seems so easy to get locked out of your account on purpose or accidentally.

Are there unlocked VR headsets that I can just have fun with instead of being locked into one company and their products?

Thanks

Revelation, war, and loss.

Crossing more lines they hadn't crossed before.

TitleI think it's interesting that visser 1 uses the morph from the first book, signaling that the story we started with us being it's conclusion.

Humans start to die, the war is extending beyond the animorphs, it's too big for just them and they can no longer protect everyone by going on there missions they choose.

They have to aid those dedicated to hopeless caused.

I like how clean the app is, but any playlist plays from the most recent upload rather than the beginning of a series.

It seems like they have everything else covered, but there's no sort button?

So that,'s a bummer.

Fidget spinners I knew about. Fidget guns I did not.

hashtag babies need guns too.

Disclaimer: lt's a fairly late plot point in this not unpopular book, so I'm changing the character name so that you don't recognize it if you happen upon the book one day.

It's Morphin' Time:

"...she realized she was flying. For a moment, human thought and hawk instinct clashed, and her wings flapped frantically. She dropped like a stone. Derry forced herself to let go, to let the unfamiliar senses guide her, and her wings made the correct angle and she caught the wind again.

She thought she had the trick of it now. One had to exercise enough control to keep one’s memory and purpose, but had to give the hawk enough rein to control the body. She made a slow circle to face toward the palace, watching the ground rush by below in impossibly fine detail and trying not to think about what her wings were doing.

Derry had not taken this form lightly.

A few powerful strokes of her wings took her higher and she flew toward the palace, astonished again at the power and strength of such a small body.

She had risen above and almost overshot the palace before she caught herself and turned back. It was no wonder human sorcerers lost themselves when they changed shape. If her sense of urgency hadn’t been so strong, it would have been easy to play on these wind currents until she forgot who she was."

More ramping up.

spoilerThe nuclear option.

Another amazing book.

I haven't met anyone yet who does and I haven't read any good endorsements about foldable phones but I keep seeing advertisement for foldable phones.

Thanks

The beginning of the end,

what an insane series.

spoilerMarco abandons Nora to the yeerks to make things simpler for his biological mom and dad to get back together.

It's real dark. Cold blooded.

They boil a yeerk pool.

Tobias forced to explain how torture changes someone, since he's been through it.

There's so much foreshadowing and a lot a bit of of murder, man this was an exciting, desperate tale.

I love this whole last run, they capture the shock of Marco revealing himself so well.

If you aren't going to reread the whole series, you will not regret rereading this one.
