whoa, these are great!

are these all original compositions made for this contest for lemmy?

dang

[–] Varyk 24 points 1 month ago (6 children)

why is that vine so funny?

I feel like a hundred other people could have done a hundred other videos with that same scene and it would not be as perfectly funny as that guy is.

"Anyway, curious....about fucking children."

I'm not your bro, you disgusting pedophile.

someone has to tell you to stop, and you seem obsessed with me, so here we are.

[–] Varyk 1 points 1 month ago

great point. The orange should also be just the front of his face. the edges and neck should be his naturally translucent un-oranged wrinkly skin.

qanon is wildly conservative.

and what's homophobic to you about two guys kissing?

Senator Sheldon Whitehouse, talking about anonymous tens of millions of dollars with an obvious conservative bias and the donors not being disclosed being funneled to American conservatives, particularly high level judges and politicians, referred to it as "the dark money monster and the tsunami of slime"

That leap is so cool. Her fourth wookie stage is pretty good too.

Vietnamese Cover #6 (sh.itjust.works)

Not super different from the original cover, but definitely more active, the animated style brings the unexpected, organic nature of morphing to life well.

Australia is about 200 times bigger, by landmass, 7.7 million to Taiwan's 36,000 square km

Not as stunning as some of the earlier covers, but still very fun, especially compared to the static US cover or the lobster EU cover.

Artist: Dang Thanh Tam

With that long hair he looks more like a Bigfoot and has a real cryptid vibe going on.

The third panel is pretty hulk, I'm very curious if the artist made this cover green so that he could have an intermediate hulk here.

I know I can't mention the lobster cover without posting it, so here you go:

I always assumed credit scores were an integral and historic part of the American financial system.

They were not, they are very recent, most of your parents didn't have credit scores growing up, and as you can probably tell or at least intuit, it's mostly just a b******* scheme for those with capital to accrue more capital by invading your privacy.

I remember this one primarily because of

spoilerMarco having to choose whether his mom lives or dies.

Also pretty funny when Tobias gets stuck on the back of the dolphin and rides in and out of the water as an upset bird on a dolphin.

I'll always love the originals, but these Vietnamese covers are so awe-inspiring that they are rapidly redefining how I remember the series.

So much more vibrant.

This image conjures a similar feeling as when I read about Cassie becoming the dolphin in this book.

Wow!
