The only thing going for this laptop is 7900m has +4gb vs 4080 and the cpu is slightly faster than intel. Other than that it loses in basically everything, and some people here wonder why does amd have a low mobile marketshare.

Im puzzled by reviews today, the selection of application here shows mainstream cpus are still fast as TR shines obviously in MT applications cinebench, Blender, zip compression. Sadly they only used adobe suites oh well and also why aren't they comparing it to intels hedt? I understand their core audience arent for this market but theres space to improve.
What do you think most people globally use dp or hdmi?
Which monitor are you running dp on right now?
Why dont you sell it for a 7900xtx? +50% vram & +2-3% raster.
What if I showed you Intel 12th 6p+6e was able to defeat amd's 8p in real world applications 2 years ago?
You think e cores are only for synthetics? What if I show you 6p+6e or 6p+8e can defeat 8p in real world applications?
4080: 9558.15 M2 max: 1916.93
M3 max to get nearly 5x rendering vs m2 max
Okay
Thats fast, looks like they used transistor budget on cpu and left gpu hanging. Or they knew catching dgpu on soc will be too expensive. As m2 max can lose to 3050 in some apps. Due largely to nvidia software nd RT. They want to partner up with amd or nvidia? Why would they?
If they pair with dgpu that reduces the point of arm, since dgpus will use considerable power
It comes 6-7 months or something which will face competition from m3, mtl, ada refresh, zen5 and at the of the year awl.
Anyways good competition but unfortunate for them, competition wont allow them to succeed
Its not necessary to compare to M3 max, (ofc reviewers will) but it depends on the price class.
