Im puzzled by reviews today, the selection of application here shows mainstream cpus are still fast as TR shines obviously in MT applications cinebench, Blender, zip compression. Sadly they only used adobe suites oh well and also why aren't they comparing it to intels hedt? I understand their core audience arent for this market but theres space to improve.

The time cost to develop new benchmarks/tests for HEDT/Workstation chips, plus the actual cost to source a modern Intel HEDT system for comparison is probably not worth it for the more gamer focused outlets. The viewership probably just isn't there, and the audience is already getting plenty of "big number go brrr" charts from what they do test.

What Intel HEDT's?

Intel's last consumer HEDT is the i9-10980XE which released in 2019 and was even then basicaly a rebadged i9-9980XE. Comparing it to that makes no sense since that is a 18 core part.

Besides that Intel doesn't have anything in the consumer space and your left comparing to their workstation CPU's.
