It's for the silliest reason as well, we stopped including psuedoephedrine in OTC cold meds because Theresa May government were concerned about people using it to make meth, with no evidence that people in the UK were using it to make meth...

You can still get pseudoephedrine but you have to request it at the pharmacy, as it's a pharmacy medication now.

So in reality no difference in terms of accessing it, if you really wanted to make meth, just means that most people can't get an effective decongestant when they're on their way to work...

I found one of these in Warwickshire, let my mycology society know, they collected a sample and it's now in the fungarium in my local town museum.

Apparently it was the first recorded instance of it in
Warwickshire.

It always makes me smile when I see news articles on it.

I get what you're trying to say, but that still isn't exactly accurate.

If you measure the herb before and after, it'll give you the total of evaporated difference, but this difference will not reflect the actual THC/CBD consumed, you've got terpenes and other volatile compound in there as well, adding weight.

Nor does it account for losses due to condensation on the inside of the vape.

If you know how much it your herb is THC/CBD, then you estimate with a reasonable degree of accuracy.

Also now that I've written this out, I realise how "Well actually..." this is; my bad.

Love the username btw, what vape do you use if you don't mind my asking?

Silly one, and but do tanks run on diesel?

Every other heavy machine I can think of typically uses diesel for their engines: tractors, lorries, boats.

Also diesel is less flammable then petrol or hydrogen in the event of a spill of leak...

Gotta ask have you been in school in the past 20 years?

I'm not sure if any state school has lessons divided by gender aside from P.E. and possibly some Sex Ed lessons...

Gender division in schooling was certainly a thing in the 70's and probably the 80's.

Admittedly, I don't take the train or bus anywhere near as much as I used to, but when I did there were always poster adverts about being respectful towards other riders and staff. Have those gone away, or is it that there is another influence supplanting that messaging?

Perhaps phones being much more engaging that people actually spend a lot less time reading the PSAs and adverts around them?

In a weirdly similar way, I remember pre COVID there used to be so many more drivers that would be blasting music with their windows down that it rarely deserved a second thought. It's much more rare to hear it nowadays, to the extent that when I do, it seems so much more obnoxious.

Also the opposite side to it don't keep hammering into somebody once they've admitted fault and are trying to rectify their mistakes (within reason).

People will be a lot more likely to be confident in admitting a mistake and being honest about it if it isn't blown out of proportion.

I've tried watching it about 5 times and get to different points before I burn out.

It has sparked an interest in the works of R.D. Laing for who Lain is named in reference to.

A Psychologist who was active in the 60's and is famous for their work with schizophrenics; I've been curious if their work may give a bit more context to understand Serial Experiments Lain

Doesn't it provide a safe way of preserving food that housing built before personal refrigeration became common won't have (a larder, basement, or even shaded garden)?

Methods of refrigeration become especially important if you do not have a regular way of retrieving food.

Not to mention, even cooked vegan food can and will spoil quicker without refrigeration.

I don't know much about it, it's the only piece I've got that is made from two distinct layers of glass.
