As someone mentioned in another community, it'll be interesting to see how he handles the immigration stuff right after making inroads with the latino community.

I think he'll do whatever he thinks gives him an advantage, but we just don't know what that will be.

It's going to be an interesting, and not very pleasant, 4 years we are heading into!

I don't think she was a plant though. The Green Party chose her. Do you think they are all plants then?

[–] UniversalMonk 3 points 6 days ago (2 children)

Why? Even if everyone who voted for Jill Stein, combined with everyone who voted third party, Harris still would have lost the election. That's how large the margin was.

Harris even lost the popular vote! Seems like Jill Stein should be the least of the Dem party's concerns.

[–] UniversalMonk 1 points 6 days ago* (last edited 5 days ago)

Well, in the end it didn't matter. Harris lost by such a large margin, none of the votes that went to Jill Stein would have mattered anyway.

Well, you are here reading it, so is this all you have going on in your life?

Yeah, it's crazy that they lost so badly. Hopefully, after their blame games, they can reflect on what the real reasons were, and try to update the party.

[–] UniversalMonk 0 points 1 week ago (4 children)

Do you realize that even if every person who voted for Jill Stein or any other third-party candidate had voted for Harris instead, Harris still would have lost?

The margin was big enough that, even without third-party candidates, Trump would have still won the popular vote.

So why are you mad at Jill Stein when her absence wouldn’t have changed the outcome at all?

[–] UniversalMonk 0 points 1 week ago

Of course you're gonna say that. You're pretty salty that you lost. lol

I'm not evading bans. We're totally free to set up on any instance we like. And there are lots of instances. I know that annoys you, but welcome to the fediverse!

Like you said, this is a public forum. :)

I think it's hilarious that you were so obsessed with me that you followed me around posting my post stats. lmao

And what will I be banned for? Saying that I wouldn't vote for Harris? Cuz it sure looks like a fuckton of people didn't vote for Harris.

That's why Trump won the popular vote too, friend.

Hey, remember when .world accused me of working in Russia and that I would disappear the day after the election? Just because I was a proud socialist?!
