To me it's worth it. I order a ton of Amazon, unfortunately it's usually the best option to find niche items for my hobbies that can't be found locally.

The light bulbs being designed to fail is a myth. Light bulbs can last theoretically forever but when they are extremely dim. Ever seen the centennial light? You need to view it in a darkened room because it produces almost no visible light. The lifespan of a lightbulb is a function of the required brightness and power consumption.

Do you carry a fab in your vehicle to reproduce failed electronic parts? How exactly do you fix a broken control arm with tools?

Unreal Tournament 3 was released nearly 10 years after GameSpy became a thing. The name made a lot of sense for the original purpose of the product, and it did amazing things for multiplayer games back in the 90s and early 00s.

GameSpy wasn't an authentication service. It was a way to search for servers for games because the in game search usually sucked. When you launched the game from GameSpy it would simply send a command line argument with the IP address when calling the executable. Well that's how it worked initially.
