I think the overall sentiment is removing violence as an option for everyone, cops, citizens, and criminals alike
Guns as a thing in this world inherently create death and loss as a result of their existence, not in spite of it

Thank you so much! This fixed it!
The angle makes it look really thin, but the object is actually a centimeter or so thick.
I am getting a warning saying there is an object with no extrusion on first layer though
Fascinating,
Again I haven't actually tried it. I went to install fedora kinoite(?) On an extra laptop I have to try it out but apparently the memory isn't seated correctly, so I will have to fix that real quick.
I also watched The Linux Experiment's video on it and cleared up some confusion
I have been trying to understand this for a minute and I can't seem to understand why you would use it on a personal workstation.
Like it makes sense for servers, and for deploying accross multiple systems in a corporate or public setting, but beyond that it seems like it is just adding unnecessary steps if you try to use it on your personal rig.
Maybe I'll need to just give in and try it for a week to a month to see the appeal
This is great advice!
More people should turn to linux, absolutely, but it shouldn't be just because it is linux. I think people should look at what they want from their device in particular, look at what is offerred by multiple systems and os', and decide from there that they want to use linux because it does x, y, z best.
That is what made me decide to use linux as more than just a project or afternoon curiosity!
XFCE, while it doesn't have all the fancy animations and such it is incredibly customizable while still being super light weight.
Both? Both is good
Nah, at least to me it isn't a matter of wealth at all. Every single inch of this submersible looked like pure sketch, there were so many massive red flags and anyone with an ounce of sense would have been right to veer a hundred miles away from.
It's hard to feel sympathetic for the fools that paid to be on the damn thing when it was smelling of death before it hit the water.
To be fair, if reddit employees are put in any danger by this debacle that will say far more about redditors themselves than spez. Hell it might say enough that he is concerned enough to forewarn employees.
I use Feeder, which is FOSS and available on F-droid.
This looks really cool! Didn't know anything like it existed
