So i'm testing one of the drives I got on amazon using an old computer. It started off promising, didn't get any errors when formating the drive, write speed using a usb adapter at 25mb/s... Then it dropped off to 7mb/s and the expected time shot up from 40hours to 156h🤣

I'm going to let it run over night and see what happens in the morning. If I can get it to show 4tb without error I might still keep them to test out my geekworm pi nas, otherwise back to amazon you go!

What a shame, I really liked this pen, was working on the nib because it seemed crooked and misaligned...

Can I fix the feed or find a replacement one or is this thing dead?

Scouring through amazon for random stuff yesterday, saw these "generic brand" nvmes for $65 a pop. Figured I's give it a shot for my little geekworm pie nas. 4 for the raid and 1 for backup if something goes boogers up. 20tb for $325 was too good to pass up, worse case scenario they are either 1tb each or they fail after a few months. We'll see whats up when they get here in 2 weeks.

I recently got banned from a dating subreddit and discord for people over 30 and all the admins will say is that I made some people uncomfortable. I've been trying to figure out what I did that could have upset people and the one 2 things I can think of was one incident when somebody mentioned I should try dating another male member of the discord server since we had so much in comment and I jokingly explained that I could never date another man because I don't like the sight of my own genitals so I doubt I would want to see or touch another man's. That seemed to spark some controversy with some members because I brought up genitalia. I get that I probably could have said it in a classier way, but in a server for people over 30 looking to date, I would assume this wouldn't exactly be taboo or warrant a ban.

I was wondering if anybody knew of a hydration pack like a camelback that was made in Canada or at least by canadian owned companies

We are promotional garment decorators and my boss asked me to come up with a logo for our web portal, imprintzilla. His guidelines were, simple and ideally includes a dinosaur.
