For Nintendo, the main purpose is to put a dent in piracy.
You can bet your ass anti-piracy measures will be the biggest upgrades made to the console.
Switch games were being emulated quickly after release and there's a lot of PCs with the same form factor now that are technically beefy enough to emulate stuff. (*looks at SteamDeck)
This breaks the previous emulation cycle and gives them a chance to boost anti-piracy measures since they're clearly not beefing up the Switch 2 to PC hardware standards.
The hardware will defnitely be emulatable on other systems, so they have to dump everything into anti-piracy measures.
I mean they don't have to but this is Nintendo we are talking about here.
OpenWRT should have VLAN support out of the gate. Probably has an admin page for it.
Unless you want to go full wireless I would strongly suggest at least one USB ethernet dongle and a cheap managed switch (managed so you can take advangate of VLANs. Unmanaged switches are cheaper if you decide VLANs aren't for you).
It's not even a new idea. When everyone in a political party is vying to be the smartest person in the room by controlling information and making everyone else dumber, you end up with a joke shitshow like the US Republican party, which stands for nothing other than bullying and willful ignorance.

Even changing the nominee is risky at this point. There's never been a party that has won when changing the nominee at the "last minute."
That's what's scary here, replacing him could even be more disastrous than standing behind him. Both are bad choices. We've been fucked into a bad choice by a party that doesn't give a shit about its own voters.

I've only ever seen it include 1981-1996. Gen Z is considered 1996-2009.

I literally do blame the Democrats for Trump, and if you don't, you weren't paying attention.
Plenty of us were critiquing Clinton's campaign on those merits and were consistently talked down to in shocker the same way we're being talked down to now. Shocker, she lost. I remember saying a few weeks before the election "We're about to get Brexited." I put my vote down for Clinton, because Trump is fucking insane, and that was clear before he was President. It was clear in the fucking 1980's.
Being able to critique our leaders is supposed to be what is the difference between us and conservative voters. They're the cult who unquestioningly believes all the bullshit that comes out of Trump's mouth and diapers. I find it weird that people think we should be more like them in regards to our leaders like that would be a good thing.
