I'd say nix is hardly niche at this point (although I'm biased cause I use it a ton)

There's even a termux fork these days that runs nix on droid

Just apple maps and bing under the hood though.

"The 22st century is now"

Yeah so where are our local PCB manufacturing facilities? They're easy enough to create I'm halfway to making my own in my garage, surely great capitalism would have no issue emulating this

And this is just one example of a million technological capabilities that were still stuck in the 60's for cause it was cheap

Someone should make a pie chart of how much a house cost is labour, materials, taxes/government shit, and how much just goes to the landlords pocket.

If we really want to solve the problem we mine as well use proper data to see where efforts would be best spent

Humans are mushy by design, its essentially impossible to draw a line like this

Not much feelings here, I was just looking into getting krita on one of my few iOS devices and found they wouldn't be able to comply with their GPL licence with apples structure, but hey were not getting personal here right so I must be wrong (personally)

Most FOSS projects weren't allowed on the app store due to licencing, and although I think this has changed its also probably pushed off a lot of Foss devs.

Number of files doesn't really mean much more than number of lines though, especially between languages
