Yep,and its inescapable,it seems. I was going to make a comment about all the things I see wrong with lemmy,but just read the replies,everybody else has the same gripes I do,lol. Good to know its not just me. But yeah,all polichickens are liars and thieves,but its annoying how people can be blind to their party doing/saying the same things as the other party.

Right? And just like reddit,politics seeps in to every other page. We get it,you lean left(sometimes way far),but there's a page for that. Keep it there. No one likes politics in their memes,at least I don't, and I'm positive I'm not the only one.
Hell yes. I see posts I want to block,but if I do,I lose a page I enjoy. So I deal with the annoyance just to keep that page. We need hide post badly.
Smaller population makes it feel like more of an echo chamber. Or maybe it is a bigger one because of smaller population. Still trying to figure that one out myself.

Same here. I really am ancient,lol. I'd thought it might have been a Magnavox console,but they were sears diehards(no pun intended) back then. Makes sense. Even had the giant cylinder paddles with it,but no gun.
Branching off of this,the smell of cold air. Its so clean. Also,if indoors,the smell of cold from an aluminum window frame. One of the best childhood memories for me.
