I let my license expire during the pandemic and had to retake the written and driving tests in my thirties. Made me of the opinion we should all have to retest for licenses every 10 years. It makes sure everyone is at least aware of the laws and also helps naturally remove licenses whose ability to drive has diminished for whatever reason.

Driving shouldn’t be something you certified in for life, it isn’t like riding a bike

This feels to me like a work project where management promised it done next month and it will reasonably take a year to finish. Otmar the middle manager kept insisting it will take a year but upper management doesn’t care and thinks that replacing the middle managers will somehow speed up the timeline. From my experience this delays the original year long timeline and worsens the overall end product.

I feel bad for the Alpine employees who are being subjected to this thrash .

It’s not easy and the export kinda sucks.

This Reddit thread has an online option, or there are a few scripts floating around that allow you to do it in your mac if you aren’t comfortable uploading your file to some random website.

Not a lot of better places to go. Hopefully next year with their car being a lot closer aligned to the Red Bull car it will go better for him

I think you might have meant “ski resort” instead of “sky resort” although I think I’d like a sky resort way more than a ski resort

Name.com is great! They’re local to my area and have always been fantastic to deal with. I’ve used godaddy, Google, name cheap and wouldn’t recommend any of them

It’s almost like we should regulate the industry to ensure that no one party in the deal is abusing the other. Taxis are regulated and can’t charge surge rates for a reason, when you are stuck somewhere and there are only a couple options to choose it isn’t a balanced market and therefore needs the state to ensure fairness

Yeah I think that would give me essentially the same access that I have now but through a GUI. I’m hoping for something that will cram my logs into a data store of some sort and present them on a GUI with search, filter, aggregations, etc…

Interesting read. I just bought my wife a .garden to use for email. It’s on the more expensive side at $30 a year so maybe will avoid the same fate
