I agree too dude, you're getting too many downvotes for this. The dice rolls should be toggleable. I mean, I really like the game but the qol and ui overall has a lot of issues.

You don't need to have played bg1 or 2. The story has little to no connection other than bring situated in the same world and making references very rarely. There are some easter eggs too.
With that veing said, I know bg1 and 2 may feel a bit clunky and dated but they were amazing and warrant a playthrough. I think they did many things better than bg3 to be honest.
Omg i laughed on the clip with no beard. What a throwback.
Honestly the follow mode is just frutrating. Let me drag and select and move party members and set formations as needed like in the old bg but add some modern pathfinding like dont walk into traps. The amount of times I misclick on a damn member and they start a dialogue is driving me nuts.
I kind of love it. Like it is hideous but it is kinda cool too. Beats every other cookie cutter house.
I dunno about worshipped but to me pathfinder wotr has so many good quality of life improvements and better ui overall. Pathfinder also feels more like a proper successor to baldur's gate mechanically and the old infinity engine. I am still enjoying bg3 though.
I've seen it listed a bunch but i want to highlight project farm.
It is a great channel that tests everything tool related including commom household products. Definitely check it out before buuing any tools really.
It seems completely separate, as it should be tbh. I am sure there will be sone references but this title has nothing to do with the narrative events of bg1 and 2. It is just the setting afaik.
It is actually a bit frustrating coming from those systems as i feel they are much better lol. The gsme is still fun though, i just wish it made informatiom about skills more detailed or accessible.
I agree with your thoughts. Honestly, some of the fanbase is starting to turn ridiculous. This game is not above criticism and downvoting people with valid critiques is really annoying. I think this game does a lot of things really well but at the end of the day it doesn't play like a baldur's gate game, it plays like divinity or dragon age. After coming from pathfinder wotr, builds seem limited and unbalanced by comparison.
One of my major issues is the interface leaves out a lot of key information. So many of the spell and ability descriptions are vague which make it hard to plan builds and tactics accordingly.
I pay for the most expensive inernet where i am and it still chugged along.
Rogue trader for sure. Honestly, if anyone here hasnt played pathfinder wotr i highly recommend it. It's definitely more advanced and complex than bg3 in terms of ruleset imo but it's really good. Far better mechanically, better quality of life and ui as well by a longshot.
