Rhode Island isn't really an island. Like, yeah it's named after one of its islands, but people who live in the state are on the continental part. I thought the whole state was an island lmao

I think they are referring to the measuring spoons used for dry ingredients. In middle school home ec class, we were told to never use dry measuring tools for liquids and vice versa, the teacher implied that the measurement would be different

Serious question: what's up with the whole shower beer thing? I have definitely had a beer in the shower a few times in my life, which could be described as rock bottom or a really fun crazy night...

Is it essentially glass-of-wine-in-the-bathtub selfcare?

Came here to ask the same question. Are the pods more effective (aka quicker/less traumatic) or do they have the same results?

How important is it to link/provide the original source? I have saved many great memes and such but would be majorly inconvenienced in trying to find the OP

Also another fun fact: not all tardigrades are capable of going into the tun state. For example, aquatic tardigrades that live in freshwater streams can form what is called a summer egg, which allows them to survive hot and potentially dry conditions, but I don't believe much has been studied on this alternative state. IIRC marine tardigrades also cannot achieve the tun state, so this really only applies to terrestrial^*^ tardigrades.

^*^Terrestrial tardigrades are also sometimes referred to as aquatic tardigrades as they are only active (not in the tun state) in the presence of water (e.g., after it rains)

What kind of markers and photo paper are you using? Your style reminds me of some awesome paintings an old friend of mine made, his were abstract-looking versions of musical instruments.

If it helps, I found Khan academy to be an excellent resource for learning math when your teacher sucks. It's free and makes learning feel more like a fun game

This is the best answer I've seen. Basically the color tells you where the bleed is occurring. On/near the surface will be bright red and indicate likely fissures or hemorrhoids, while dark red to black color indicates a bleed further up the digestive tract which can be something much more serious.

Apparently doctors get asked this A LOT and a little red blood when you wipe is very normal. However, best thing to do is talk to your doctor to be on the safe side

My heart goes out to you and I've seen this happen to my friends cat before. If I'm not mistaken, it's almost exclusively male cats that are affected due to their urethral anatomy and stress tends to cause the onset of the inflammation. It is very life threatening without treatment, but the cat will live a normal healthy life after the surgery otherwise. You did the right thing taking your baby to the vet right away and saved his life, I hope you get the help and support you need to help him with this procedure ❤️
