I like it because there's not many movies that just concentrate on swimming around in the ocean. I genuinely like it when I'm sick or background noise.
A real answer is my spouse plays them. I occasionally try to get into a game they are playing to spend more time together, but it's so toxic it never lasts more than a few nights.

As a millennial with a child, I'm so glad my parents didn't have half the shit available to them that my generation has. Even in a lot of daycares the parents can watch the CCTV live of their child. Literally just sit there at work and watch their child.
And that's before you get into tracking when kids get phones.
