Uk comic Bob Monkhouse told the following joke many decades ago:
"When I first said I wanted to be a comedian, everybody laughed. They're not laughing now."
No it just meant that she wanted different things as she got older.
We got together when she was 21 and I was 34 and we got on a like a house on fire. We split up 9 years later. Turns out you change loads between the ages of 21 and 30, not so much between 34 and 43...
