I love cabbage for this. It’ll last a long time too!

I put it in a freezer bag in the fridge after each use. It’ll brown a little on the edge, but it’s easy enough to shave off.

Then in the summer I’ll plant the bottom part in the garden. I’ve currently got a grocery store cabbage that has sprouted two new ones and another one I just finished to plant today. I also do this with celery

I don’t imagine people buying 3-4 a day. I used to do it. And yeah every now and then I’ll grab when I’m out, but usually I take two travel mugs with me to work and don’t need to.

Also, it takes less time for me to make coffee than I would spend in the Tim Horton’s drive thru in the morning. Just not worth it.

I do get it hot and fresh every day though.

I agree with you about the economy, but on a personal level - keep in mind I drink it black - I find the idea of buying coffee at a shop ridiculous.

I mean, not every day, but usually yeah. I don’t drink coffee on Sundays though because I’m aware that I drink a lot of coffee.

I'm a school bus driver myself. I'll tell you the issue is that they're short drivers because they pay peanuts. The buses are coming that late because drivers are doing routes after their first routes. All the school bus companies somehow pay the exact same rates. There is no competition between them, but "they're trying everything."

Since there’s no official thread I’m going to write my thoughts in this post as I watch the episode.
