Even if you swallowed your toothpaste, you'd be fine because the amount of fluoride is so insignificant.

Anytime I hear a guy proudly say "better to ask for forgiveness than permission" I can't help but think that statement gives off rapey vibes. For obvious reasons, I'm not at all surprised that this is essentially Trump's mantra.

Well that's unfortunate. What are more ideal instances of Lemmy? Thanks for the explanation, by the way.

I have no clue how Lemmy works. I made an account and just assumed that was that.

This is why ACAB doesn't go far enough. Prosecutors and judges are just as guilty if not more.

No problem! I love removable/rechargeable batteries.

OP did follow up with proof though, people who are too lazy to Google the quote are also too lazy to read OPs proof and instead act like they should be spoon fed everything.

I mean, let's not pretend the trend of oversized trucks didn't start in America.

I basically treat truck drivers the way I treat cops at this point. Keep a safe distance and treat them like really stupid but dangerous and highly aggressive animals. Not surprising at all that most cops drive trucks.

😏 be like me and use a cast iron skillet that weighs a ton, never is slick like you see on the internet, and is a removed (really Lemmy? Auto censor?? FFS) to clean

In all seriousness, I just made scrambled eggs on the ol' beast and they turned out decent. Far from non stick but it's non cancer at least.

Cracks me up that it took Lego several years to barely scratch the surface of your well-made point. This is what happens when you have a male dominated corporate world and and you know when they hire women, they're either hiring women who will agree with them or they're not actually listening to the women that disagree with them.

Google it. It's on her Twitter account. She said it but she recently apologized and said she got it wrong.

To this day, neither the National Guard nor the Minneapolis Police Department have addressed the crimes committed in this video. Accountability works both ways.

I know this is the autism community but as someone with ASD and ADHD, I thought people here might appreciate this video. There tends to be an overlap between the two.

In today's video we are exploring the idea that sustainability is "women's work" and that there might be an Eco Gender Gap. We cover man theories around masculinity, femininity and it's affiliation with the Earth, and much more.

Note: This isn't my video but I have a background in research science pertaining to a field relevant to this video and in my opinion this is one of the best videos I've seen on environmentalism. I believe this video should be shown in elementary schools, high schools, colleges and universities.

There's a certain community there that I'd like to filter because a) I find the content/discussions to just be generally awful circlejerky nonsense and b) it's polluting the "All" section that I like to browse.

Looking at you, non-essential business owners... particularly those who insist on staying open and not providing employees with adequate PPE and sick days...

All my life I've been been slim/athletic, but it's had far little to do with any kind of discipline and far more to do with me constantly forgetting to eat/drink regularly, plus sports. I'm tall too so that's always helped a lot.

It's starting to annoy me though because I know eating/drinking regularly is generally healthier than eating/drinking sporadically, and I'd like to figure out a method of fixing this that fits well with how my mind works.

In the past, I've manged to fix a number of lifelong issues I've struggled with by using resources geared towards people with autism and ADHD. I used to be fairly unorganized until I found these resources and now my stuff in general is very organized in a way that I actually enjoy maintaining.

I'd like to find a similar way to fix this issue I have with not eating/drinking regularly-- basically a way to structure things so that I eat/drink regularly in a way that I can really get into a repetitive groove.
