It appears if Nvidia keeps trying to get around curbs that maybe Nvidia is a national security issue. The issue is that chips can be reverse engineered as well. China is more than capable of building fabs and have zero qualms about stealing IP.

I haven’t used an air cooler in over a decade. Water and AIO coolers ftw.

It would be awesome if Simone could invent SRAM speed disks that weren’t volatile. It would be a huge step forward for PCs for many things and we would stare at CPU/GPU makers as the bottle necks.

Man I was really hoping it was stolen from AMD and was graphics related AMD stuff.

No it’s like the movie contact’s ending. Expecting something big and it’s just lame ass parking assist features.

How can anyone take asrock seriously with that website?

Do they need to compete with the 0.1% of GPUs or just compete with the 4080?

I think AMD is playing the long game on RT and they’re already kings at rasterization. A 4090 class card may not be needed anymore if their research pans out. They have some proofs of concept that would make the 4090 unnecessary.

I say this as a 4090 user. All the 4090 is for is brute forcing performance when software refinements are what’s really needed at this point. Then build hw accelerators once we have the software side sorted.

Hell even Nvidia is waffling at another 90 series card next gen.
