Our small town pharmacy delivers at no extra charge. I’m never looking back.

In my state, before Covid sub pay was $100 a day in many districts and a bachelor’s degree was required. My son made more than that at Starbucks after tips.

The state had to lower the bar as far as degree because during Covid the few who were willing to accept this pay had to find other jobs until schools reopened. They didn’t come back. Now schools are still posting sub positions that state that a bachelor’s degree in that subject area is required, a master’s degree is preferred, and the pay is $130 a day. But someone with a high school degree is also paid $130 a day for other sub positions. The expectations are very different for the two positions, but the pay is the same.

She may have been enjoying the sounds outside, she may be an introvert and was recharging, she may have been thinking her own thoughts and wanted to finish, maybe the coffee had not finished doing it’s work - sometimes silence is not about being angry or feeling distant from someone. She did tell you she didn’t want to talk about anything. Maybe that’s why she got upset?

I don’t know about dirt floors, but my mom grew up with an outhouse.

Not looking for solutions - just letting folks know their mission statement is to separate the elderly from their social security checks. My mother fell for this scam 23 years ago, has paid nearly $10,000 in premiums in that time, and it has a cash value of less than $3000 today, which I cannot seem to access for her tho I have financial power of attorney and have jumped through all their hoops. I’m pretty sure their long game is to drag this out past the next premium due date at which time they’re hoping I’ll allow the policy to lapse due to nonpayment.

Is there a way to see what specific instances each instance has defederated from? Just curious
