Yeah, if I wanted to create a positive vibe around Communism I'd start with crafting stories about Cuba since they can at least pass a vague lazy reality check

At that point you want a Mitsubishi Fuso or something, they're up to the task of doing real work while a US style pickup truck is for posing.

Hell, even a little Ute with a flathead is more practical for actually loading up with stuff

Yeah, I really really wanted to like it, but it was so bad I'm still salty about it ... mostly because of wasted potential

I was gonna say, my Mum's starting to get a bit like this but she's 86 so it's not a surprise ... 57? Hard yikes.

I have a bit, it started off really nicely and then, for me, nosedived into ridiculous chaos and dull grinding. Neither of which felt anything like what I hoped from a Star Trek game.

Already got that here, it's the village WhatsApp group. Doesn't line up perfectly, but there's a lot of car sharing going on :-)

You're absolutely right, it was an ex's favourite movie ... all I saw was a struggle with abuse and destructive mental health, and I could never stand it.

That ex also had raging bipolar disorder, and my life improved dramatically after the break up.

Fantastic, genuinely made me laugh out loud, thank you :-)

Added to my list, thank you :-)

Urf, one of the candidates for mayor of the region where I live said that if they won they'd make an industrial park to encourage jobs ... a third of the municipality is a nature reserve, half of it is a literal mountain, and the remainder is small farms. There are no roads big enough for a full size lorry, and there's a large industrial estate in the valley below which provides lots of jobs.

It just made me wonder if they were that corrupt or simply on drugs.

Mmm, whereas to me the on-road truck simulators feel like drudgery, lol
