It's kind of empty and I thought about stopping my boycott of Reddit because I think it hurts the US more to use Reddit as a place to talk because unfortunately that's where everybody is. Still couldn't get myself to do it though, but I'm struggling to find content here on Lemmy and I suspect maybe I don't know how to use it

They claimed to accept black people way before you, and they didn't (look at the sieg heils and white supremacy claims). They only pretended to accept gay people recently, and you thought this was serious?

Which is one of the reasons I'm giving up on working in tech despite having a PhD from my home country in Telecommunications. I have skills and could learn the ones I lack but I just don't have the mindset and attitude and don't feel like developing them. I'd rather code my own projects in my own way while remaining underemployed.

Simple solution: give away the extra money to charities, or just pay your taxes, cut the fat and you won't have to worry about that anymore.
