I stream because I like discovering new artists that I don’t know about. Otherwise keeping everything on a drive is probably better considering that you have full control over it.

It’s just sad because it plays into the goals of these bigots. They want safe spaces where they don’t have to see/be around LGBTQ folks. Leaving these places is what they want.
They don’t make money off of our regular interactions on the site. They make money by selling tracking packages of users to advertisers.
In an app made by them, they can track so so much of what you do. Much much harder to get data from someone using a third-party app.
The loading times will probably be very long.
