God, the fucking gamer rage around the Fable trailer was insane. They can't even take the idea of a woman not being traditionally attractive as a punchline. And to explain why woman no look good, they had to pull a story about a trans game dev being the model straight out their asses, because only one of them TRANS WOMEN could look slightly unattractive!

This would be a really cool standard! I only wish it would work here in the US, where our brake lights have to pull double duty as turn signals. But in sensible places like the countrirs in Europe, this would be dope!

Where does plaque come from? (discuss.tchncs.de)

I know it's bacteria, but where is that bacteria coming from? Why doesn't brushing, flossing, mouth washing, or getting a deep clean at the dentist get rid of it entirely?

They've got a lot of old manuals scanned in, so I use it to reference those a lot.

Hotel breakfast was my first experience eating a bagel outside of New Jersey or New York. It scarred me deeply.

Factorio is a total slog to me. Which is funny, because my favorite game of all time is Satisfactory.

That's definitely true, but I think the problem ends up being that when you're in the hole of depression, that kind of interpretation is against your current thought pattern. People say the latter as shorthand for the former, but when depressed that shorthand breaks down because the stupid fucking depression gets in the way and just says "yeah, but you can't cheer up no matter what, because you're depressed."

It's ridiculous cyclical logic, but it seems perfectly fine unless directly contradicting by someone else being very blunt (like with the more detailed example you gave)

I fell off LTT once I fell into his massive pile of rich people problems videos. Like, there was one where he was complaining because his WiFi didn't reach to the gate of his mansion.

As much as the US government sucks in this department, Turing was a UK citizen suffering under UK law, not US.

My highschool has a club that is basically just group therapy for guys only. As a regular attendee, it kicks ass.

[SOLVED][Game] VR RPG (discuss.tchncs.de)

Game is Journey of the Gods, for anyone else looking!

I only remember the first big fight; you had a crossbow and sword, and were fighting a tentacle thing made of black ooze on a farm. The game overall was about becoming a god, with the gods being birds and you collecting feathers to ascend.

I originally played it on the Oculus Quest.

Switching from Ubuntu to Arch, because I spend more time disabling the default stuff than I do troubleshooting new stuff anyways.

I remember this from a few years back, but I don't remember a lot. It was a browser based competition, and you were trying to complete tasks in a fake Windows 95 environment. You'd have to find files, navigate apps, solve puzzles, etc.
