Ancient Mesopotamians: "Never barter for food at the market again with this one weird trick!"
Does it even have that many permutations when the first 3 and middle 2 are coded to actually mean something?
Knowing the context of communion and transubstantiation, I feel like Jesus was talking in metaphors but some people took it literally. Maybe it's because my Christian teachings were from a Lutheran church where nearly everything is just taken as a metaphor. I also suspect that's why I am an atheist, to begin with; none of it was ever claimed to be real. 🤷🏻♂️
The only candies that have sex identities at all are Mounds and Almond Joy.

Not since catechism. What weird shit happens? Cuz I don't remember. I mean, besides the supernatural BS during the crucifixion and resurrection.
Become so much of an Atheist, that your disbelief in God sucks the faith right out of theists.

The actual cogs probably have tons of ideas being ignored because management doesn't wanna take the risk on something new and original over doing the same tired-ass shit they've been doing for the past 2 decades.
You (other gamers) wanna see creativity? Look for independently made games, where passion still exists because they're not beholden to a council of greedy shareholders sucking the very soul out of them.

DE is how I think story-heavy and focused games should be. It doesn't need gimmicks, it doesn't need any "gameplay" at all, really. It just needs to have the branching narrative. The reason to play through it again, and again, and again because each time you actually get something new, something different. It's all about your choices and stat distribution. The only choices that feel meaningless are literally the ones that straight up tell you in the game that they are, in fact, meaningless. Which is also fun, when it's being used humorously as Disco does.
That said, I have mentioned it would be nice to have combat; but the last time I played through, I found the combat. Literally got a scene I had never seen before because I always actually tried to solve the murder before and only needed the first 3 days to do so. This last time I went for the total loser run and didn't do shit. Which led to a really great action sequence.
