that might be cool, you'd have to test it somewhere to see how people adapt to using it though, it probably would be better to have it not influence the sorting algorithm so people aren't incentivised to use it instead of an upvote
is the "hide permanently" button really necessary? I feel like a lot of users will click that without much thought, and a year sounds low frequency enough for me
would making the hide button grey work, or would that be not consistent with the theme?
is this issues with encode/decode? it was finicky to set up on my nvidia setup as well, and getting Firefox to work with it was another nightmare

Made some replacement parts for the T430 because I had a broken T430 that was missing these. None of them require screws so they should be ideal if you find a broken T430 on the side of the road or something.

what do you classify as art?
I personally believe that art is just someone's presentation of their ideas, and the medium is irrelevant. In my opinion things like books and games can contain art, just as images can.
