We all make this mistake when we’re young and stupid. It’s how we grow up. Looks aren’t everything. They’re temporary at best.

Electronic Intifada is where I go for all my unbiased news from the Middle East.

Current industry analysts predict 2027 for AR glasses from Apple. They will be a game changer. Huge development is happening with miniature displays. I think the challenge will be processing on light frames, so I suspect it will be offloaded to one’s phone.

Ground.news is a great way to get your news. Don’t rely on any one platform.

Bias on Wikipedia is very bad now. One of the co-founders of Wikipedia has declared it “propaganda.” It doesn’t get more damning than that. Indeed, I’ve been involved in certain pages which have been butchered beyond recognition over the years thanks to power capture in the mod hierarchy. You wouldn’t BELIEVE how bad it is on many pages. Anything which is even vaguely contentious is guaranteed to be ideologically captured.

I apologise that I haven't provided a follow-up. They keep me very busy at work. I will try to check back in over the weekend to respond in kind. I would like to thank you for staying respectful and data-driven, even when I was not always equally respectful.

There are Nazis on YouTube, Reddit, and Lemmy. Why are you here? You are not automatically associated with Nazis just because they might use a platform. This is like saying veganism is evil because Hitler was a vegan.

They have ads, but I think YouTube pays better. Which I suppose is why creators stick with YouTube for now.

They integrate FASTER than others who came before them who were supposedly far closer to our “shared values and culture” (i.e. “not muslims”), and society didn’t collapse when THOSE came.

You are attacking straw men. I neither claimed the problem is "Muslims" nor that making Germany poorer will collapse society. Please re-read my comments. To repeat myself, this is what I wrote, and your source confirmed that:

Germany needs workers, not people who are illiterate and unlikely to ever work. Germany has accepted a LOT of people of the latter, and it is causing a lot of social unrest.

Did you know that in most European countries, Syrians have some of the lowest rates of employment out of any country of origin? Unfortunately I can't find Germany's demographic stats (I would appreciate a source for yours). Here are the stats for Denmark.

Please re-read my comment. Oppression was a theme, yes, but there were no oppression monologues. Ridiculous cringe like this. Instead, the writers told good stories and didn't rely on beating viewers over the head with ham-fisted messages.

I welcome it. These companies have overstayed their welcome. Let them die so that something better can take their place. I haven’t logged into Facebook in a year and it’s wonderful.
